Dear FireRescue Reader,
You can't help but get excited about the FDNY boxing team going toe-to-toe with their Irish equivalents! In this issue of the e-News, we bring you that story as well as Harold Schapelhouman on the economic stimulus package and Scott Cook on why training needs to be about more than "weeding out" the bad students. Also, as the wildland fire season heats up across much of the U.S., Brad Mayhew provides a new way to use the popular wildland safety tool, Lookouts, Communications, Escape routes and Safety zones (LCES).
As always, stay safe and let us know what you think!
Sincerely,
The FireRescue Team |
