American Red Cross of Greater Chicago seeks local firefighter heroes

The American Red Cross of Greater Chicago is looking for a firefighter who has demonstrated their dedication to fire protection, prevention, and awareness in their community to honor at the 2009 Heroes Breakfast. The Heroes Breakfast is generously presented by W.W. Grainger, Inc. Kirkland & Ellis LLP is the Breakfast Sponsor. Do you know a firefighter hero? In 2008, Chicago made history for having the fewest amount of fire-related fatalities in years.  For this, the city has to thank the hundreds of dedicated firefighters who continue to risk their lives day and night to protect the lives of its citizens. At the Heroes Breakfast, the American Red Cross of Greater Chicago will recognize heroic firefighters along with other local heroes who have served and inspired the community with their acts of bravery, commitment, and goodwill. The Firefighter Hero Award is sponsored by Aramark.
