Fire-Dex’s Most Comfortable Product Line, FX Gear, Preferred by FDIC Firefighter Attendees

Firefighters Polled at “Take the Fire-Dex Challenge” event at FDIC

Ninety-one percent (91%) of firefighters polled at the Fire Department Instructor's Conference (FDIC) April 23-25 in Indianapolis, IN think Fire-Dex’s most comfortable product line, FX Gear has better dexterity than their current gear.

Fire-Dex, one of the nation’s largest firefighter turnout gear manufacturers, dared firefighters at FDIC to “Take the Fire-Dex Challenge” and try on the lightweight and flexible FX Gear, then race an opponent in a one-of-a-kind firefighter-inspired obstacle course. In total, nearly 1,000 participants took the Fire-Dex Challenge, tried on FX Gear and filled out a short survey about the gear after the obstacle course was completed. Firefighters who participated became eligible for the chance to win the “Heat of the Battle II,” Fire-Dex’s custom-built Orange County Chopper and a Paul Teutul, Sr. autographed set of turnout gear.
