W.S. Darley & Company awarded Special Operational Equipment Contract

Continuing to execute their strategic plan to increase Federal Government business, W.S. Darley & Company has been awarded a major contract by the Defense Logistics Agency for the Special Operational Equipment Tailored Logistics Support Program.

According to W.S. Darley’s president, Paul C. Darley, “We were selected as one of the four recipients of this award from a field of 14 bidders.  We are excited to work with the Department of Defense to serve our Special Operational service members, and this is another major step in Darley’s commitment to expanding our Government business strategy. The contract has an estimated value of almost one-half billion dollars over the first two years, but realistically it will probably be less than that. Regardless, it’s a huge milestone in our company’s 100 year history.”
