Washington auto extrication symposium is set for June 18–22
The fourth annual Pile Up in Puyallup auto extrication symposium is set for June 18–22. The event is once again being held at the South Hill Mall, 3500 S. Meridian on Puyallup, Wash.’s South Hill. This event has quickly gained a reputation as the premier auto extrication symposium and competition in the country. Teams and vendors from across Oregon, Washington and British Columbia will be in attendance.
This year’s event will feature two classes:
- A new vehicle/hybrid technology course set for June 18; and
- A 2-day advanced auto extrication class set for June 19 and 20.
These classes lead into our Transportation Rescue Emergency Committee (TERC)-sanctioned Regional Auto Extrication Competition. This year we are limiting the field to the first 12 teams to register. The top two U.S. teams will qualify for the 2009 U.S. Nationals, an event that is open to the public, and there is no admission charge.
