More Than Meets the Eye
Wahl Instruments' newest addition to its Heat Spy Thermal Imaging Cameras line, the Long Distance HSI3003, was designed to detect and measure the temperature of small objects over long distances. Powered by a lithium-ion rechargeable battery, the HSI3003 is fully radiometric and measures the temperature of every pixel between 32–482 degrees F. A trigger-activated Class II laser precisely identifies and displays the hot spot on a 3.5" color LCD display with LED backlight. Two cursors can be placed anywhere in the image to measure the temperature at each location and indicate the real-time differential temperature measurement between the two points. The camera features a tripod for remote use and includes an assortment of accessories.
